I LOVE the place I’m in right now. Some things are changing, all of which . . . as always . . . works for good. It’s exciting to a point to be “on the market” again (as in vocation) . . . I’ve not lost my job or anything; but just some things that I disagree with have made me look elsewhere for my vocation. Now I may end up staying where I am for my career, but now I’m looking where before I was just there beating the stone, day in and day out.
Another thing that’s going on is perhaps kind of scary to some! ha ha At my 40hr job I work in front of a pc, at home with the home business I work in front of a pc, when I get a chance to kick back and relax my wife and I play a game, on the pc. So I thought it best I pick something up that was not ‘pc’ related. After much thought I decided that I’d have a go at learning a musical instrument. It’s something that is totally outside of my comfort zone so it made perfect sense. Started with the guitar, struggled; but to be expected. As stated in previous post, brother came over to lend a hand as he was trying to learn a string instrument himself. He’s the sort that make me sick in that he can pick up any instrument he wants and is playing it in a few hours. Thanks to him, I’m now hooked on the Baritone Ukulele. Laugh it up if must . . . but I’m having a ball! On my blogroll is my YouTube channel which has some Ukulele music . . . good stuff . . .
Wish pops were here to see me now, LOL. He wouldn’t know what to do with both his sons playing music. And, weather permitting, I might be headed down to the local Yamaha dealer to try my legs on a bike. If mother finds out, I’m finished! ha ha But the wife is all for it, and that; in the end, is all I really care about.
One last thing, I’ll never live down the great Candy Disaster. Cousin did a great job of writing about it on the comment to “So I know this guy” be sure to check it out!
Interesting post.., brother
