Scripture~
Exodus 4-5, Psalm 27, Mark 6

I’m loving the Old Testament reading here; as it reminds us that the great men of God were indeed men and full of flaws. Moses pleads with God pointing out his own human short-comings; but God persists and reminds Moses of who made him. There’s a song, and I can’t quite recall it . . . I think it’s by Disciple “After the World” and it speaks to how well God knows us and His ever present being. Yesterday was a nightmare day . . . so was the night; come morning Christ is still there with us, even in the hard times, He’s there; ever-present, ever-knowing, ever-loving, and ever-providing.
Psalm reminds me of the attitude I wish I had all the time, “why should I fret for the Lord is with me and I am with Him”. It’s something that is echoed throughout the bible, “Greater is He that is with me, than he that is in the world”. Moving on into the New Testament . . . I tell ya . . . the whole thing is reminding me to remain faithful even in these little hard times. This is nothing, really in the grand scheme of things . . . this is nothing.
