Numbers 27-28, Psalm 76, John 18

     I am still perplexed at Caiphas, perhaps we’ll never know until we reach the other side, but he seems to have an understanding that Jesus must die for the people. Now is it that he’s worried that those who believe Christ will act in a way that will bring down the wrath of the Roman Empire upon Judea, OR is it that he really understands the prophecies point to Christ as the Son of God and being the educated Priest that he would be he would know that Christ had to be put to death.
