Joshua 8-9, Psalm 100, Acts 24-25

     I am amazed at the brutality of war; well, perhaps not of war but of the vivid descriptions in the Old Testament. It amazes me, one doesn’t have to go watch war movies or violent tv shows . . . there’s enough adventure in the story of Joshua alone to feed anyone’s hunger for war stories. I can imagine that had I been told these stories as a child I would have loved them and sat on the edge of my seat clinging to every word.
     And to continue on into the New Testament, I feel as if I’m watching Law & Order . . . it’s truly amazing . . . to watch it all play out. Paul, a man falsly accused is having the opportunity to speak with the most powerful and influential individuals in the world . . . he continues to minister to them no matter what his circumstance.
